Paradies Law P.A. is an intellectual property law firm located in Tampa, Florida and serving clients in Tampa Bay and worldwide. We prepare and file applications for patents, trademarks and copyrights, and we help our clients with intellectual property licensing, assignments, and confidentiality agreements.

We take your privacy seriously, and we do not share your information with anyone unless we are required to do so by law, you request us to share your information, or by order of a court.
If we agree to represent you as your attorney, you will be entitled to the attorney-client privilege provided under Florida law. This privilege is not absolute and must be safeguarded by you. In some cases, courts will find that a client has waived privilege by disclosing an otherwise privileged opinion or document. Do not forward, or even share the existence, of any opinion of an attorney. Keep communications with us confidential, and we will be able to keep your communications with us confidential under most circumstances.
If you upload anything, redact any confidential information first. If we need access to your confidential information, we’ll ask for it, usually in person or during a telephone call.

How long we retain your data
We retain information about you, our communications with you, your company and the matters that we handle for you. We back this data up several different ways, but you should not rely solely on our storage of your information. Use your own efforts to save your important documents and communications with us. You have a right to request our files, and we will ordinarily provide an electronic link to these to give you access to your files. We don’t keep paper client files.
What rights you have over your data
You may request access to your data, and we’ll provide access to the files stored in CLIO. If there is a cost associated with providing access, we may charge a fee to cover our costs of providing you with access to your files. You may request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes, and we may keep our memoranda to file and correspondence with you.
